Sate Taichan (Spicy Chicken Satay)

They called it "Sate Taichan", it's a well-known chicken satay that grilled without any seasoning. After the meat already well cooked, they served it with super spicy chilli sauce. OMG i need two mineral waters to finish this satay.

Okirobox's Okonomiyaki, Kuningan Mall

Waiting for my delicious Okonomiyaki at Okirobox, Kuningan Mall, Jakarta. i like Takoyaki more but i am a bit hungry so this time i went with Okononiyaki.

Jongkong

Jongkong, some says that this dessert is a local food from Bangka Belitung. It's sweet and a bit chewy, made from rice flour and served with coconut milk. Usually you can find it at local market and it will be easier to find them in Ramadan, the fasting month

Pancake Durian from Medan

Do you know that Durian, the smelly fruit can be this delicious and too stinks? give a try to Pancake Durian. It's a fresh Durian covered with cream and pandanus "skin"

Blok M Gultik

Food stall of Gultik aka Gulai Tikungan. It's a street food that you can find in Blok M, Jakarta. It's rice with small pieces of meat and beef broth, served on a plastic plate with chips. Because of the small portion we need two of them.

Tahu Jeletot

Tahu Jeletot, spicy tofu with vegetables and chilies as the filling. It's so spicy that we need water for every bite of this tofu but still, it's delicious. Found this snack at Tangerang.

Martabak Mesir

This is called "Martabak Mesir" or Egypt meat crepe. it's thick crepe filled with spices and pieces of meat. Served with pickles, curry sauce, and sweet sauce. Tho it's not made by Egyptian but Indian people.

Kisaran

it is a pleasure to have a chance traveling to Kisaran. We found this huge mosque named H.Ahmad Bakrie mosque. Built in 2011 then it was finished in 2015. This mosque have such a beautiful tradition architecture from Melayu.

After visited some of their tourist spot, we ate Rujak. Rujak is a traditional salad that you can find anywhere in Indonesia, this one is we found here in some well-known food stall. Fruits and vegetables are mixed with spicy sauce that made from peanut, chilli pepper, and brown sugar. It's not really spicy but you can ask them to make it more spicy.

Bakso Kojek at Belawan

Small meatballs with tofu, snack, that called "Bakso Kojek" here. Served in plastic with some sauce, and it's so cheap. You can get it for IDR 5000 and choose your level of spicy.

Burger King

If you are Indonesian and craving for burger, you can try this American burger, though they are just in the big cities like Jakarta, Bandung, Bali, Lombok, and Surabaya. we eat this in Jakarta, the price is around 2-3USD for a burger, french fries, drink, and a cup of ice cream.

Lemet

Lemet is a traditional cake from Indonesia that made from grated cassava mixed with brown sugar, also salt to make it more tasty. It's chewy, sweet, and wrapped in banana leaf.

Sate Padang

Have you ever seen Sate Padang Before?

It's satay that originally from Padang but now you can find it in other cities in Indonesia. Usually you can choose between beef, chicken, lamb, beef tongue, beef appendix. served with Ketupat (rice cake boiled), spicy sauce, and fried onion as topping.

This Corner street has the best thing for you who looking for something to make your house even more beautiful. so many ceramic here! Some store also sell shoes, watches, even foods.

Bubur Sumsum

Bubur Sumsum, it's a porridge made of rice flour, served with coconut milk, brown sugar, and black glutinous rice. You can find this sweet dessert at traditional markets, or sometimes there are some people who sell this door-to-door.
